TourWest is a competitive grant program funded by the National Endowment for the Arts that provides subsidies to arts and community organizations in the 13 states and 3 jurisdictions in the WESTAF region for the presentation of touring performers and literary artists.

Kawa Taiko is a project of the Snake River Chapter of the Japanese American Citizens League, operating as a non-profit club. Kawa (which means “river” in Japanese) Taiko (which means “drum”), is a project of the Snake River Chapter of the Japanese American Citizens League. The group likes to have fun and at the same time hopes to educate and entertain the public with a centuries’ old art form from Japan.
