Kawa Taiko is a project of the Snake River Chapter of the Japanese American Citizens League, operating as a non-profit club. Kawa (which means “river” in Japanese) Taiko (which means “drum”), is a project of the Snake River Chapter of the Japanese American Citizens League. The group likes to have fun and at the same time hopes to educate and entertain the public with a centuries’ old art form from Japan.
