Marimba Boise is a community of students of Zimbabwean-style marimba music. They play on a family of xylophones, where each instrument adds an essential voice to an intricate and joyful sound. Join us at the Idaho State Museum on Saturday, May 3rd, from 10 AM to 5 PM, for a celebration of the many cultures that make up the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community in Idaho. This community day will feature cultural performances, food trucks, a pop-up exhibit, a vendor fair, and activities for all ages, while honoring the traditions and contributions of AAPI communities throughout the Gem State.
