Join us at the Idaho State Museum on Saturday, May 3rd, from 10 AM to 5 PM, for a celebration of the many cultures that make up the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community in Idaho. This community day will feature cultural performances, food trucks, a pop-up exhibit, a vendor fair, and activities for all ages, while honoring the traditions and contributions of AAPI communities throughout the Gem State.
Whether you're discovering something new or reconnecting with familiar traditions, enjoy the music, dance, and cuisine that highlight the vibrant AAPI cultures and learn how these traditions continue to shape Idaho’s identity.
This event is free and open to the public, so bring your friends and family and be part of this cultural celebration!
Thank you to the following organizations for collaborating and helping make this community day possible: Indo Idaho, Filipino American Association of Idaho, Idaho Island Festival, Japanese American Citizens League, Global Lounge, and the Idaho Museum of International Diaspora.
Stay tuned for more details, including the full schedule of performances and activities.
